IRWIN Industrial Tools is an industry leader when it comes to hand tools and power tool accessories. In the beginning, IRWIN was launched by two men, who believed that with imagination and determination that they could achieve anything. The story begins with Charles IRWIN, who owned a pharmacy in Martinsville, OH, and it grows with the ideas of William Petersen, a blacksmith of DeWitt, NE. Armed with ideas of an Auger Bit and Locking Pliers, their combined efforts started IRWIN Tool Company (or the American Tool Companies).
Since 1885, IRWIN has been basing all of their products on innovation, safety, and comfort. Their impressive track record is based upon their knowledge of who uses their products, and on which applications.
Irwin’s team of professionals travel to job sites across the nation to see how their products are being used and what can be done to improve them. Their sole focus is to make sure the professionals can do their jobs as quickly and easily as possible.
